HOW LUTHERANS INTERPRET THE BIBLE – begins June 19 and continues each Wednesday evening for 7 weeks (no meetings on 7/17 and 7/24), from 7:00-8:30pm in the Library. We will learn what tools and concepts Lutherans use as they study sacred scripture. Dr. Mark Allen Powell, Professor of New Testament at Trinity Lutheran Seminary, Columbus, OH, will provide a 20 minute DVD presentation during each session to stimulate our thinking, as we study specific passages of scripture, including Jesus’ famous parable about a father and his two sons. Please join us. Pastor Tom Ford will be the teacher. Come and bring a friend! This is open to all in the community.
