The Grace Food Shelf is open every Saturday morning from 9:30 am – 11:30 am. We are located at the West end of our campus, off of Holliston Avenue.
We invite everyone with a need to pick up a grocery bag of non-perishable food items. We do not require an unemployment stub or have any income level requirement. If you have a need, you are welcome here.
Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise…Luke 3:10-11
We have food options for those with or without kitchens. We also have hygiene kits available for our homeless brothers and sisters. They include: a comb, soap, shampoo, razor, toothbrush and toothpaste.
How do I volunteer?
We have an ongoing need for Grace Food Shelf volunteers! If you’re interested in helping with this ministry, please fill out the form below. New volunteers are welcomed and trained by a veteran volunteer.
How can I donate?
Food donations are on-going and can be dropped off at the church office during business hours, at the food shelf on Saturdays, or in the church Narthex during Sunday worship (Narthex currently closed during pandemic).
In demand items:
macaroni and cheese
canned soups and/or tuna
canned fruits and/or vegetables
cup of soup noodles
spam
chili with beans
cereals
jam or jelly
granola bars/breakfast bars
fleece blankets (colder months)
Monetary donations are always needed and appreciated. It cost approximately $25,000 a year to run the food shelf, which includes food and supplies. During this pandemic, the need has been greater as more people seek help. Please notate food shelf on your check memo line or when donating online.
